ICY’s
Great Britain partner is a group of mission focused
youth workers who unite togther under the banner of MNet
which stands for Missional Network of youth leaders.
Originally founded by ICY Training and Pastoral
Directors David and Linda Isgrove, MNet is now led by a
multi-national leadership team. Ruth and Charlie Morris
originally from Canberra Australia, are now based out of
St Johns Walmley and head up the Birmingham Cluster of
youth leaders. Darin Stevens and Kyle McKinnon
originally from the US but now Bicester based head up
the Oxford cluster, and DT and Zoe Braven Giles, who are
about as English as they come, head up the East Anglia
region. Between them, they are looking to take on about
40 trainees this year based from mid Wales to East
Anglia and Leicester to Gloucester. They are also keen
to make contact with full time youth workers who share a
passion for missional youth ministry.
ICY’s
Northern Ireland partner is Project Evangelism. Based in
Dundrum,
County Down and
led by John Moxen, Project Evangelism is an interdenominational faith
ministry, and has been involved in evangelistic outreach in
Northern Ireland for more than thirty years.
The organization seeks to share the
Gospel of Jesus Christ in direct and
culturally relevant ways, recognising changing needs and
expectations
across the whole Northern Irish community. It works out
of Murlough House, a nineteenth century manor house,
dating back to 1859. Project Evangelism is looking to
place, network and train youth workers across the
province.
