Ain
Zhalta School Lebanon
is an Evangelical School set up in the Chouf Mountains
of Lebanon, and serves the Druze Community with
schooling from 5-16. Each day
begins with a chapel service and the Christian ethos is
very strong. There is an international team who live
together in this well equipped modern school set on the
side of the mountain with astonishing views across the
valley. Mount Hermon isn’t far, and despite what the
news may suggest, the school has been since it was
established an oasis of peace. Teachers and aspiring
teachers are sought for the school and all costs are
covered once you have arrived, including a small weekly
allowance. There isn’t a need to speak Arabic,
although obviously language skills do help.
