If you want to study and minister from your home European country or study or have a gap year with a placement in a European country, then read on but be warned this is not for the faint hearted.
Those going to Europe need to know that the continent is spiritually terminally ill.
There are no known evangelical young people in the whole country of Slovenia.
Many other countries call themselves Catholic, Orthodox, Lutheran or Anglican but in reality there is little or no spiritual life at all. It can be spiritually challenging, isolated, and bluntly financially draining, and our recommendation is you only consider this option if you have a real sense of God’s call.
Those wanting to join a study course from a European country will need to be committed to both the study and the ministry. You will need to be proficient in the English language, and confident to travel regularly to the UK.
We have the following opportunities:
1. Gap Year Opportunities in continental Europe
2. Study Opportunities for English speakers in Europe
3. Opportunities for Europeans to join in the study and network from their own country.
Gap Year Opportunities in continental Europe
If you are 18-30 and hold a European passport it is possible to send you on a gap year to another European country with EU funding. This covers everything including your airfares, board and lodging, unaccredited training and even a weekly
allowance. So for instance if you are a Brit, we have opportunities in Poland, Germany, and Finland with further opportunities coming soon in Greece and Austria. For more information

Study And Networking Opportunities for English speakers in Europe
We do have a few opportunities for English speakers holding a North American, EU or Oceanian passport to be based within international community youth ministries across continental Europe and to study on the accredited undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The basis for this is the same as those based in the UK except we do expect a greater level of maturity and initiative given the distances required to travel to and from conferences and the increased cultural acclimatization necessary. Opportunities for Europeans to join in the study and network from their own
country.
If you are European you can of course come to the UK either under the scheme above or else on the Bachelors or Masters course, but it may also be possible for you to join the Bachelors or Masters Courses from your home church and country. You will need to fly to the UK for the study conferences, but these are held near airports used by low cost airlines, and flights booked well in advance are extraordinary value. For more information
