We now have revised packs detailing both the Bachelors and Masters programmes. The changes and developments at the Bachelors level mean that we now hope to have German language small groups on the conferences, and you will be able to submit your assignments early to ensure that language and content are right! You can also opt out of conferences if you have to, although you will need to submit extra work for the modules featured on those conferences. This means for instance that should you want to go abroad for a bit like Bettina is doing, you can do so and continue your studies.
The changes and developments at Masters level are even more significant. We have permission from ACOM to offer the course in a hugely flexible manner. This means you can choose your modules and the pace at which you study. So for instance if you have time you can do more study, but then if life gets busy, you can slow down or even take a break. We will advise you which modules are being studied at which conferences and then you can choose whether you opt into those modules and that conference. We've also worked hard at making the costs as competitive as possible. It still isn't the cheapest Masters out there, but we haven't been prepared to compromise on the missional content of the course or the dynamic and inspirational way we choose to deliver it. Basically you pay a one off administration fee and then pay the cost price for the modules you take and the conferences you attend.
If you still need more details or else want to sign up for either of these courses, do let me know.
Then again you don't need to do either course to be a part of the missional network. For instance you can just join in whatever conferences you want to attend. The conferences will all include streams for youth leaders which will provide support for you both in ministry and your personal walk with the Lord. Conferences will move around Europe and maybe even beyond, with the next few being planned for the UK, Austria and Sweden. We hope to partner with other ministries in each of these conferences to offer an even wider range of training and input. The first conference is September 6th-10th at the Pioneer Centre in the UK. Find out more about the conferences here and if you want to come in September do let me know.
Do have a look at both our website and the ICY Europe Facebook fanpage.

AFRICAN UPDATE
It's that time of year again, as the Kenyans prepare for their Abide Camp. Every year the Swahiba Youth Networks team and a group of short term missionaries take teens from the slums of Nairobi out into the bush for a summer camp. For most its the first vacation they've ever had and certainly the first Christian camp. It's always a really fruitful time. However this year the fruit has already begun through the prison and slum ministry and in September instead of having a break after the business of the camps, the team will launch the new village ministry from their base in Bar Agulu. We have a great short term mission team moving out into our new house in the bush as we pilot a model for long term youth discipleship in a rural context. Watch this space for updates.
Also this month Bettina Weiser heads out to Uganda to join the team from Vision Africa and she is followed shortly by ICY BTh graduates Josh and Abi along with Abi's hubby, Tim, who will be based literally just down the road with Revelation Life. These are turly exciting days for our African teams.
